What is National Night Out? It’s America’s
Night Out Against Crime! The 27th annual National Night Out is
scheduled for Tuesday, August 3, 2010 6:00pm – 9:00pm Living
Hope Community
Church
Along with the traditional display of outdoor lights and
front porch vigils, cities, towns and neighborhoods ‘celebrate’ National Night
Out with a variety of events and activities.
National Night Out has proven to be an effective and enjoyable program
to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in our fight
for a safer nation. We as a congregation in partnership with the Walker City Police Department will once again be hosting this FREE COMMUNITY EVENT!!

Military men and women, past and present, our appreciation for their
sacrifices, dedication, and service to our country through our letters, emails,
cards, prayers and thoughts.

Church is listed on the “A Million Thanks” website as a designated drop off location for people in our
community to drop off letters to be sent to our military personnel. No postage is necessary, we will take care of
that for you!

OPERATION SHOEBOX SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS Operation
Shoebox was founded in an effort to send support, snacks and much
needed personal items to our troops deployed outside of the USA.
We, at LHCC are collecting items from the list of suggestions on their website, and will send them
directly to Operation Shoebox which is located in Florida. They
