What Is Alpha?

Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting.

The Alpha course usually meets once per week for 10 weeks, and includes an amazing one-day or weekend getaway.

Each session, people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile…

questions like—Is there a God?  Why am I here?  Where did I come from?  Where am I going?

Our annual Missions Service is scheduled for
 
SUNDAY, JANUARY 22^ND

NEWCOMER’S CLASS!
 
Are you new to LHCC?
This Class is For You!
 
Pastor Jim will facilitating a
 
“Welcome To LHCC” class
 
for anyone who is new to the church in the past year
– or if you have not yet attended this class. 
The class will be taught on 2 Sundays from
 
9:30AM – 10:15AM
 
 
JANUARY 15^th and JANUARY 22^nd
 
in the Southwest classroom
at the back of the Sanctuary.
 
The class will offer a chance to sit down
with the Pastor and get to know each other a little better,
learn what we believe, and introduce you to what LHCC has to offer,
and what volunteer ministry opportunities are available for you to plug in to the church body.
 It will also give a chance to ask questions you may have about the church.
 
This is a required class for anyone who wants to become involved in any ministry of the church.
