ourvision - The youth are the most
powerful and potential-packed generation and most of them don't even
realize it. It is a time when they can no longer ride on the wings of
their parents and their relationship with GOD becomes real as it gets
tried and tested. They have so much energy and what they lack in
knowledge and wisdom, they make up for in zeal and enthusiasm.
Once
they get a hold of GOD and HIS WORD, there is no stopping them from
changing their world! The youth have more opportunity to impact their
world than any other age group through sheer exposure; school, sports,
clubs, the mall.... They just need to know that GOD loves them and
wants to use them to change the world. They need to understand that GOD
has given them specific gifts and talents to use for the Kingdom of
GOD. It's time to take the teens of today to a higher level. Where they
know their GOD, reach out to their friends, and grow up spiritually to
be strong effective believers; rooted, grounded, growing, changing,
reaching out for Christ! The Youth of today are sought out by a ton of
worldly-minded groups; MTV, witchcraft groups, Planned Parenthood, mass
media. They are seeking out the youth because they know they are the
most impressionable, and powerful at this age. Satan works hard to
obtain this age group like no other. We believe it's because the youth
are the generation in which GOD is going to do a mighty work through.
If we can impact them, they will impact the world!
We are
excited to give them an opportunity to let GOD use them through weekly
youth meetings, on-going relationship building, and an extreme summer
event. All focused on letting GOD accomplish all HE can through the
youth.
