 SUNDAY SCHOOL GOALS

BUSY BEES   Ages:  6 weeks to 2 years 

•     The children will be told every week that Jesus loves them.

•   The children will have scripture prayed over them every week.

•      Every child will know they are safe, loved and cared for.

JESUS’ LITTLE LAMBS   Ages:  2 years to 3 years  

•   The students will know that Jesus loves them and that He cares for them.

• The students will learn to have a relationship with Jesus by learning to pray to Him.

• The students will be able to tell someone that the Bible is God speaking to them.

• The students will be able to recognize the Bible from a picture book.

• The students will learn that God’s word (verse) is a gift to them.

• The students will learn about God through major Bible stories and learn about major Bible characters using their five senses.

SWEET PEAS   Ages:  4 years through Kindergarten    

• The students will know Jesus is alive.  He died on the cross, was raised from the dead and lives today.

• The students will develop their relationship with Jesus by praying and knowing that He answers their prayers.

• The students will know God talks to them through His word by memorizing scripture through finger play and by touching highlighted Bible verses.

• The students will be able to recognize the Bible from other books.

• The students will learn about God through Bible stories and hands-on activities.

• Students will be able to recognize major Bible characters and how they are different than fictional characters.

THE ADVENTURERS   Grades:  1^st and 2^nd  

• The students will know that Jesus is our Savior, our healer, our provider, the Son of God and He lives today.  

• The students will learn that God is alive and real by learning His character through the teaching of Bible stories.

• The students will develop their faith and relationship with Jesus by praying and knowing that He answers their prayers.

• The students will learn that God talks to them through His word by memorizing scripture, specifically Psalm 23 and the Lord’s Prayer.

• The students will understand the structure of the Bible; it has many books with chapters and verses.

• The students will be able to point to a chapter and verse when given a book of the Bible.

ROCK CLIMBERS   Grades:  3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th

• The students will learn that Jesus is alive and He desires to have a personal relationship with them.

• The students will learn about the character of God through Bible stories.

• The students will know that God talks to them through His word by memorizing and understanding key scripture along with the Beattitudes.

• The students will be able to look up Bible verses by book, chapter and verse.

• The students will understand the division of the Old Testament and New Testament and learn the books of the Bible.

• The students will learn morals through memorizing and learning the 10 commandments in the Old Testament and the 2 commandments Jesus taught in the New Testament.

24/7 LEARN, LOVE, LIVE  Grade:  6^th, 7^th, and 8^th

• The students will learn repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ and have and an opportunity to give their life to Jesus Christ. 

• The students will learn what promises God has for those who believe and as it relates to their development in their Junior High years.

• The students will learn about the character of God through the teaching of Bible stories.

• Students will learn about the role of the prophets and how God used them.

• The students will learn to pray scripture and apply scripture to daily life through memorizing scripture and learning about Psalm 91.

•  The students will have an understanding of what they believe and why, and be able to share their faith with others.

• The students will know that it is the Holy Spirit indwelling in them that helps them to learn, love, and live 24/7.

HIGH VELOCITY YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL  Grades:  9^th to 12^th grade 

• Students will be able to defend their faith in Jesus Christ.

• Students will know the Bible is living and active in their daily lives.

• The students will learn how use their faith to stand against specific “tough” issues facing teens today.

• The students will learn how to carry out a personal Bible study through the inductive Bible study method and life application.

• Students will learn that it is God’s plan to use them to seek and save the lost of this world.

• Students will learn that the opportunities to minister to others are endless.

• Students will learn to “Preach the Gospel at all times, when absolutely necessary, use words”.   

KID’S PRAISE   Ages: 4 years old to 5th grade  

• The children will be instructed on how to seek God when they worship.

• The children will be instructed on how to incorporate worship songs in their daily lives, such as when they are sad or scared or dealing with a problem.

• The children will be instructed on how to pray and lead other children in prayer.

• The children will learn Bible verses through songs that they sing.

• The children will know that even though they may be small, they have a loud voice in God.

• The children will know that they are heard.

• The children will know that God is taking care of them all the time.
